Training for the construction sector

The accounting of long-term contracts is one of the most demanding areas of Polish accounting practice — and our speciality for two decades.

Construction companies that account for their contracts reliably know their result while the work is in progress, not only after completion — and they pass the audit of their financial statements and tax inspections with confidence. Our training builds exactly that skill: from the principles to the difficult cases drawn from real projects, always in the language of practice, not of legal paragraphs.

We train boards and finance directors, chief accountants and the accounting teams of construction companies, as well as accounting offices serving the sector — from the basics to workshops run on the client's own data and contracts.

Who teaches? Dr Jacek Kalinowski — the author of the draft of Polish National Accounting Standard No. 3, "Construction services in progress", and its updates, the author of the books "Long-term contracts in practice" and "A compendium of knowledge on National Accounting Standard No. 3", and co-author of "Accounting in the construction company". It is hard to find training closer to the source.
We always tailor the programme to the client — to the specifics of your contracts, the applicable framework (Polish standards / IAS-IFRS) and the level of the team. Ask for a proposal.
